IOSS will enable merchants who choose to pay VAT at the time of purchase on consignments under €150.00 to file a single statement. If a company does not apply for the IOSS, the buyer must pay VAT when importing products into the EU. Shipments worth more than €150.00 will be charged VAT at the time of import.
