Who regulates banks in the UAE?

There are two authorities in the United Arab Emirates that regulate their onshore bank banking facilities. First is the Central Bank of the UAE which is responsible for regulating banks, financial institutions, insurance firms, and service providers for payments. The Emirates Securities and Commodities Authority that is responsible for regulating listed companies, markets, and securities brokers.
