Is there any high qualification required to become a director or shareholder in a private limited company?

According to the Companies Act, there are no prescribed academic or professional qualifications required for an individual to become the director of a company. Unless a particular company requires you to have any specific qualifications, there are no such requirements. Only the minimum age to become the director of a company is 21 years and other than this there are no specific requirements.
